Picture of the Month
March 2009
Teaming with People for Puget Sound, I will be starting a new conservation project this month : I call it Eyes on Puget Sound.
Over the next few months I will work with volunteer pilots from Lighthawk to create a complete environmental image survey of the endangered Puget Sound shoreline.
My goal is to produce a visual atlas, concentrating on areas of critical environmental concern, including industrial pollution, land use and coastline erosion.
The image collection will be used by PPS to help in their efforts to save this spectacular collection of islands and fjords, shorelines and river deltas.
